CDR Yamaha Monster Energy team rider Hayden Mellross swapped out his Motocross gear for leathers to spin some hot laps on the ASBK pillion bike, piloted by Steve Martin, at Winton Raceway for the MiBike Insurance Australian Superbike Championships round 2.

Mellross loved the experience and was interviewed by MiBike ASBK TV Host Riana Crehan on sunday during the live telecast about his time at the event and his thoughts on the upcoming 2021 Penrite ProMX Australian Motocross Championships presented by AMX Superstores.

“The fact that we now have live television and viewers can tune in at home is amazing and a huge step in the right direction for the Australian Motocross Industry. It is something us as riders have really embraced and we are excited for a massive year and the opportunity to give the fans a great show both from trackside and at home”, commented Mellross.

Hayden Mellross and the rest of the stars of the THOR MX1 class will take to the track at Wonthaggi, Vic on April 11th, for the inaugural 2021 Penrite ProMX Australian Motocross Championships presented by AMX Superstores.
