Nowra, NSW

The Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) will take on new pastures in 2025 with round six to be held in Nowra (NSW) on Sunday, July 6.

The one-day round will be held on the 1.7km motocross track within the massive 1000-acre Nowra Motoplex expanse, which also includes over 20km of bush trails.

The motocross track has a sandy loam surface which is professionally maintained and groomed and, with large jumps, long straights and a combination of fast and slow corners, there’s something for all tastes.

However, the track requires maximum focus to produce consistently fast laps – and one where it’s easy to lose time but hard to make it up.

It’s a captivating recipe for a huge and intriguing mid-season round as the Nowra Motoplex marks its return to national-level motocross for the first time since 2017 when multiple Aussie champion Dean Ferris was the overall winner in MX1 ahead of Brett Metcalfe and Kirk Gibbs.

Run by the Nowra and Districts Motorcycle Club, the schedule includes practice, qualifying and racing across one jam-packed day with action from Australia’s best riders.
