NSW Government set to support Maitland Round in 2023
The Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) is proud to announce the official support of the NSW Government for the Maitland Round (Round Three) of the 2023 Championship via a $50,000 grant from the Regional Events Acceleration Fund. This significant support from the Government will help boost the social and economic recovery and prosperity of regional NSW.
“We are thrilled to receive this support from the NSW Government for the 2023 Maitland round of the ProMX Championship,” says Peter Doyle, CEO of Motorcycling Australia (MA). “This event is an important one for the region, and the additional support from the Government will only serve to make it even better.”
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said the Regional Events Acceleration Fund is attracting major domestic and international events to regional NSW.
“We know that hosting events in the regions attracts thousands of visitors to town, and those guests will spend up big at retailers and dine in restaurants and cafes, providing a massive boost to local economies,” Mr Toole said.
“The Regional Events Acceleration Fund has already supported more than 100 events and attracted more than one million visitors to the regions.”
With this exciting news, the two-day Maitland round on the 6th and 7th of May is set to be one of the most thrilling events of the ProMX Championship this year.
