Tanti returns to CDR Yamaha in 2025
Three years after winning the premier Thor MX1 class in the Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) for CDR Yamaha, Aaron Tanti will return to the line-up in 2025 alongside Jed Beaton.
Tanti reunites with the CDR Yamaha YZ450F after a 2024 season spent racing in America and Canada, only returning Down Under to compete in the Australian Supercross Championship where he finished fifth.
“I had a career goal to race in the US and while it was frustrating in many ways and a lot of injuries, I’m glad I did it and feel I learned a lot from it,” Tanti said. “I wanted to return home and to reunite with Craig (Dack), and the team is awesome.
“The 2022 season was my best and, being back on a YZ450F, surrounded by the CDR team, I’m confident I can get back to my best and be a real challenger in both the ProMX and Australian Supercross Championships.”

Beaton proved to be a sensational addition to the CDR team in 2024, finishing second in an intense battle for MX1 honours in the ProMX championship alongside eventual champion Kyle Webster.
He then took that momentum from the ProMX championship into the Australian Supercross Championship where he finished fourth with two podium results and ahead of some well credentialed riders.
“I’m looking forward to another year with the team and think we are ready to step it up for 2025. The team and I gelled well, and I think we are just scratching the surface of the results we are capable of,” said Beaton.
“While the 2024 season was successful, there was a lot to take and learn from it and we have already made changes in our preparation for the new year which I believe will put me in a much better place.
“The team have the bike working great and I’m excited to get stuck into it.”

Meanwhile, across the wider Yamaha motocross offensive, the Yamalube Yamaha team has retained the services of Ryder Kingsford and Jayce Cosford in MX2, while Koby Hantis and Ky Woods will be in MX3 mode under the WBR Yamaha banner.
Madi Simpson will be the third WBR rider as she competes MXW class, and she will also ride a YZ250F in the rebranded Australian Enduro Championship.
