Tanti signs two year deal with CDR Yamaha

Aaron Tanti has a fresh new deal with the Monster Energy CDR Yamaha Team, signing on with Craig Dack’s squad in a move that cements his spot on the grid for the Penrite ProMX Championships in 2026 and 2027.

Pairing up with Jed Beaton again – who was unlucky not to finish the 2025 season due to breaking his arm in a training accident – the duo will make a formidable team in the coming years with respect to their skillset in both motocross and supercross.

This year was tough for the 2022 MX1 champion with a neck injury sidelining him for the majority of the championship as he recovered, returning for the final two rounds at Toowoomba and Queensland Moto Park.

The ability for him to make the starting gates ensured that he got some competitive racing in and kickstart his preparations for the upcoming Australian Supercross Championship.

“I worked hard once I was given the approval to increase physical activity and hit a personal goal of being able to return to racing before the end of the ProMX Championship,” Tanti said. “I think it’s put me in a good place for the Supercross Championship and the team could see the effort I put in, which hopefully helped them with their decision to re-sign me again for another two years.

“CDR is the team I wanted to stay with and where I have had my best success.

“I have a good bond, not just with Craig, but everyone on the team and I’m pumped to get this deal done and know I have the best team in Australia backing me.

“I look forward to getting back into the full swing of racing and now the office work has been taken care of, I can give my full focus on going fast and getting the best results possible.”

The next two years will see continuity within the CDR Yamaha camp

The Yamaha team are already in full swing for the Australian Supercross Championship with testing well underway in the lead-up to rounds one and two in Redcliffe, Qld on October 11 and 12.
