Tickets are now on sale for the hugely anticipated opening round of the 2024 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstore (ProMX) in Wonthaggi (Vic) on Sunday, March 17.

All attention will be on the famed Wonthaggi track as it hosts the ProMX Championship opener for the fourth successive year with support from returning sponsors Bass Coast Shire Council and Destination Gippsland.

All tickets include free entry into the pit paddock, where spectators can immerse themselves in the buzz and excitement of a ProMX round.

Wonthaggi has not only become one of the blue-chip rounds of the ProMX Championship because of its spectacular layout, but the picturesque surrounds and wide-ranging hospitality and service options across the region help to make it one of the most accommodating venues on the calendar.

Four classes will be in action at the Dandenong Motorcycle Club-run event – Thor MX1, Pirelli MX2, Maxxis MX3 and Ezilift MXW – with the promise of high-tempo action from start to finish.

Dean Ferris (Yamaha, MX1) and Charli Cannon (Honda, MXW) will begin their respective title defences in Wonthaggi, while the event will also signal the start of all-new power plays in MX2 and MX3 with last year’s champions Wilson Todd (Honda) and Byron Dennis (GASGAS) having moved up to MX1 and MX2 respectively. 

The Wonthaggi schedule will include practice, qualifying and racing in a jam-packed program, while spectators can also get autographs from their favourite riders or grab a bargain at Trade Alley.
