2026 MXGP of Australia to unleash three massive days of racing in Darwin
The MXGP of Australia presented by Sitzler returns to Darwin from September 18-20, 2026 with a supercharged three day program that will bring together the world’s best motocross riders, Australia’s rising stars and, once again, a round of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship.
The 2026 program will begin with a uniquely Australian flavour on Friday with the start of the MA Motocross State Challenge, showcasing the next generation of Australian motocross talent in the MX3 and MX85 classes.
Saturday marks the first full day of international action, with the MXGP, MX2 and WMX riders – including Australian wildcards – hitting the 1.6km track for practice and qualifying followed by the first WMX race of the weekend at 3:30pm. Fans will also witness the final races in the MA Motocross State Challenge.
Sunday brings the world championship season to a thrilling climax, featuring the final WMX race at 9.45am and two races each for MXGP and MX2.
