Africa readies its assault on FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup
The hype is building towards the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup at Wonthaggi, with FIM Africa announcing its five-rider line-up for the Gippsland event on March 22-23.
The FIM Continental Union member will be led by Team Captain Leah Heygate, joined by Atete Benzinge, Zoe Lee Waldschmidt, Zoe Botha and Kateete Sharifah when they go up against teams from Australia, New Zealand and America.
The milestone moment provides African women with a valuable opportunity to compete on the international stage against top riders from around the globe.
The Cup will feature three motos across the weekend, with the best 14 results from each team determining the overall standings.
