Four-time world motocross champion Courtney Duncan is the star addition to Team New Zealand for the 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup in Wonthaggi on March 21-22.

The event will pit the four-rider teams from FIM Asia, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand against one another.

As well as Duncan, Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) has also selected ProMX regular Karaitiana Horne, Mikayla Griffiths and Amie Roberts, with Milla Dahlenburg the non-travelling reserve. Roberts is the team captain.

Letitia Alabaster, herself an extremely talented racer and a member of New Zealand’s Oceania Women’s Motocross Team in 2024, will act as assistant team manager.

Team manager Ray Broad from MNZ, said it was fantastic to have Duncan in action after battling her way through recent heart complications, setting the scene for mouth-watering battles with the likes of Australia’s Charli Cannon.

“It’s great to see her back racing, and she’s 100 per cent committed to it,” he said. “We know they will be a force to be reckoned with, but we are not underestimating the opposition.”
