KTM Group Australia will continue its support of the MX65 Futures class in the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores, marking the third consecutive year the junior category has received backing from the combined KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS brands.
The KTM Group MX65 Futures class will contest three rounds of the 2026 ProMX Championship: Round 3 at Gillman (SA), Round 5 at Appin (NSW) and Round 8 at Queensland Moto Park (QLD), providing a national platform for the next generation of motocross talent. Open to riders aged 9 to under 12 on any brand of 65cc motorcycle, the KTM Group MX65 Futures offers young competitors the opportunity to race at Australia’s premier motocross events alongside the country’s top professional teams and riders.

Each round will crown a winner, with an overall series victor to be celebrated following the final event at Queensland Moto Park.
Beyond competition, participants receive an immersive race team experience including guided track walks, access to KTM Racing Team and Raceline Husqvarna Racing Team riders, and an MX65 Futures goodie bag.

The program is designed to introduce young racers to the professional environment of the ProMX paddock and prepare them for pathways into junior and senior national competitions, including the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship to be held at Shepparton, Victoria on September 28th until October 3rd.

Peter Doyle, CEO of Motorcycling Australia, on the junior category’s continued backing:
“KTM Group Australia’s ongoing commitment to the MX65 Futures class reflects a shared understanding that junior development is the foundation of the sport,” said Doyle.

“These young riders are racing in front of ProMX crowds, sharing paddocks with Australia’s elite, and getting a taste of what a professional motocross career looks like. That experience is invaluable, and it doesn’t happen without partners like KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS stepping up to support the next wave of talent.”

Rosie Lalonde, Marketing Manager, KTM Group Australia. “We’re excited to return for our third consecutive year in 2026, with our focus once again on elevating the MX65 Futures class. Supporting junior riders is core to our mission, and through our partnership with ProMX, we’re giving the next generation a platform to shine on Australia’s biggest motocross stage. With products built for future champions and a team that continues to raise the bar, we can’t wait to see the MX65 riders charge back onto the track in 2026 alongside the factory teams.”
