Motorcycling Australia (MA) is delighted to announce the continuation of the ‘Key Officials Pathway Program’ (KOPP) in 2026, designed to fast-track the development of officials under the ProMX Championship umbrella.

The program will run at every round of the 2026 ProMX Championship, available to current Level 1 and above MA Key Officials (Clerk of Course, Stewards, Starters, Finishers and Race Secretaries) who seek practical experience in motocross race management.

Attendees will participate in a structured Officials Pathway Program to gain practical experience in:
• Pre-event preparation information and planning requirements;
• Pre-race day preparation including track walks, briefings and rider sign on;
• Debriefs and scenario training programs; and
• Partnering with experienced officials for Sunday competition.
Planned outcomes for participants:
• Gain practical tips on pre-event planning and management from experienced MX Officials;
• Gain experience to add to resumes for upgrade applications (for Level 1 to 3 Officials);
• Participate in new roles through practical involvement to accelerate learning outcomes;
• Problem solving workshops including mock protests, race incident control, time management and scenario training; and
• The chance to be involved in Australia’s premier motocross championship.
