The KTM Racing Team roster is locked and loaded for the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores, with rising star Zac Watson stepping into the fold to pair up with Nathan Crawford in the premier Kawasaki MX1 class.

Following two consistent years in MX1 that netted top 10 overall finishes (eighth in 2024 and fifth in 2025) and an inaugural podium finish at this year’s Traralgon round, the 21-year old now has a huge opportunity to take his career to the next level by stepping into one of the leading factory outfits of the championship.

“I can’t wait to go racing with the KTM Racing Team!” he said. “It’s been a goal of mine for a very long time now, and I’ve had a good relationship with Kyle Blunden over the last couple of years, so being able to work with him and the team is something I’m really excited about.

“We’ll get into training now and aim to come out swinging next year.”

Alongside him is Crawford, having enjoyed his personal best season in 2025 by finishing second overall courtesy of seven overall podium finishes and one moto win at the final round at Queensland Moto Park.

The 28 year-old returns to the squad for his fifth consecutive term and already has eyes forward to 2026 with one goal in mind: more wins and a championship victory.

“I’m pleased to have signed on for my fifth season with the KTM Racing Team,” he explained.

“We’ve built a really strong relationship over the past four years, and we learnt a lot throughout the 2025 season, setting us up for what should be a big 2026!”

In the Pirelli MX2 line-up, Byron Dennis returns for the KTM squad, having claimed fifth overall in the 2025 points tally. The Maxxis MX3 champion of 2023 will aim to further improve from last year as he continues his rise up the ranks.

Joining him is Dylan Walsh who joined the team to contest the Australian Supercross Championship and has excelled, with one round remaining at Adelaide this weekend – currently fourth overall in the SX1 class.

The 28 year-old from the United Kingdom, raised in New Zealand, is a strong addition to KTM and will compliment Dennis well.

Rounding out the complete eight-round line-up is Jackson Fuller, the promising 17-year old returning for another attempt at Maxxis MX3, following a 2025 campaign that netted sixth overall.

“We’re thrilled to be announcing the 2026 KTM Racing Team, and I’m incredibly excited about the strength and depth of this lineup,” he said.

“We’ve got one more Australian Supercross round to execute this weekend in Adelaide, and the entire crew is fully focussed on finishing on a high note, but once that flag falls for the final time in 2025, it’s full focus into 2026.”

The 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores kicks off with the opening round at Wonthaggi on March 21-22.
