The American Motorcyclist Association has selected Lachlan Turner, Jordan Jarvis, Jamie Astudillo and Mayla Herrick to represent the United States at the 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup in Wonthaggi on March 21-22.

While Turner’s appearance was already announced last week as part of Yamaha’s local motocross line-up for 2026, the return of Astudillo and Jarvis is also a huge boost for the American challenge – with the trio to be joined by the youthful exuberance of 16-year-old Herrick, who has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the American amateur racing ranks.

In 2025, the United States took the challenge up to Australia in its maiden FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup appearance, falling only two to points shy of victory.

“We look forward to building off of last year’s success at the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup, and we have a team capable of making significant noise at this year’s competition,” team manager Christina Denney said. “These incredible women are the future of our sport, and we are confident they will represent the United States with pride.”

With Turner, Charli Cannon (Team Australia) and Courtney Duncan (Team New Zealand) now all locked in for the 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup, the anticipation is already massive as three of the world’s best female riders not only ride for national pride but also individual honours.

And with two of the FIM Oceania races to be held alongside the 2026 Ezilift MXW ProMX opener, the stakes will be even higher for Turner and Cannon in what should be a monumental season-long battle for Australian championship honours.

FIM Asia will be the fourth team competing in the 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup, with its roster to be announced soon.
